We think this is the best handrest out there. It's made for us by Dürk, the German hornmaker. Unlike the more commonly seen Alexander-type handrest, ours is virtually unbreakable. It can be adjusted to perfectly fit your hand and, when it's not in use, it folds down flush against the body of the horn. Our adjustable hand rests are back in stock. I'm quite surprised at how small the increases are, substantially less than the growth in the value of the euro. Finke horns are very nicely made horns and are noted for their sound quality. To correct this problem we've developed an articulated string linkage for the fourth valve. It's a kit that can be easily installed at home and which provides a shorter throw, a more positive feel, and greater reliability.
